Elevation Academy offers a 120-hour Nursing Assistant training program that meets all state Nursing Assistant exam/certification requirements. Training consists of 80 hours of classroom study/skills Lab and 40 hours of clinicals. The clinical hours are conducted, off-site, with partnering medical facilities where students receive "hands-on" nursing assistant training with actual patients. Elevation Academy is a comprehensive program, with experienced and certified instructors, dedicated to teaching students the fundamental aspects of patient care in a highly dynamic medical environment.

NURSING ASSISTANT PROGRAM

 Enrollment Requirements:

● Admissions Application
● Government issued ID
● Social Security Card
● Entrance Exam
● Must be at least 16 years old
● Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance (Level 1)
● No record of recent felony conviction, charges, or cited unprofessional conduct
● Proof of citizenship or legal residency

● Negative TB Test (results must be within 6 months of enrollment)

● Physical Exam 

● Hep B Vaccine or Waiver

● Covid Vaccine or Waiver

● Negative Urinalysis/Drug Test 10 panel


TUITION AND FEES

Total tuition is $1700.00 Tuition includes the following:

 ● Textbook and Workbook

● Skills Handbook 

● CPR and First Aid Certification

● School ID/Badge

● Lab Supplies

● 1 Set of Scrubs (Top/ Bottom) 

● Blood Pressure Cuff

● Stethoscope


Estimated additional fees that are not included in the total tuition (costs are a rough calculation of fees that may change in price depending on facility utilized for services)

● Urinalysis/Drug Test 10 Panel- $50

● TB Test-$ 40

● Physical Exam-$80-125

● Fingerprinting-$35-105

● Background Check-$85

● Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) Application-$100 (optional)

● Immunization- price may vary depending on the facility immunization is obtained 

● Headmaster Administered Arizona State Board of Nursing Exam-$130

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) has an essential role on the nursing health care team. A Certified Nursing assistants aid patients with many tasks related to daily living and basic care. Certified Nursing Assistants work under the supervision of licensed nurses, such as Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). In most cases, CNAs, often, serve as the patient's primary caregiver. Additional duties performed include monitoring vital signs, bathing, eating or assisting with daily living.  Nursing Assistant skills are in high demand in convalescent homes, home health, and assisted living facilities.


According to the 2021 US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median annual wage for a CNA in the United States is $30,290 per year. Additionally, The prediction of CAN job growth and sustainability is expected to increase by 5 percent from 2021 to 2031, (A higher growth rate than most other professions). According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, an average of over 220,000 job openings for nursing assistants are projected for each year, over the next decade.

SNAP/ CAN PARTNERSHIP (FREE tRAINING)

 Elevation Academy School of Nursing is proud to partner with the Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) through the SNAP Career Advancement Network (SNAP CAN) program to provide qualifying individuals with access to free vocational training opportunities. Individuals who currently have an active Nutrition Assistance (SNAP) case and are not receiving cash assistance may be eligible to participate in this workforce development program. Interested participants are encouraged to complete an application and register for an Enrollment Information Tour, where they will learn more about the training pathway and program expectations. Following the application process, Elevation Academy will verify each applicant’s eligibility directly through the DES system. Once approved, all training-related expenses are fully covered by DES, allowing participants to receive high-quality vocational education at no cost while preparing for meaningful employment in the healthcare field.
